ABOUT
The name Sangiovese derives from the Latin phrase Sanguis Jovis , which literally translates as “the blood of Jove” (or Jupiter, according to Roman mythology). This important grape varietal is produced in the Toscana region of Central Italy. This Sangiovese is an excellent full-bodied wine, with silky tannins, ripe cherry aromas, and a stylish finish.
